Pour white wine over the spotted red wine and use a thick towel to spot it, if the stain isn’t lifting use salt to help lift the pigment out of the carpet.


Blot the stain, pat it with a wet sponge, squirt shaving cream on it, and then wipe it clean with a damp sponge.


With coffee and tea you can use beer, pour the beer right on top of the stain and rub the beer lightly into the material the stain should disappear.
